Cadets from TS Diomede, Barnsley Sea Cadets were invited to join our friends from 148 Squadron Air Training Corps for their Battle of Britain and Battle of Arnhem Parade this morning.
Sea Cadets joined Air Cadets from across South & West Yorkshire at St Mary's Church, Barnsley before a parade past the Town Hall.
All cadets looked very smart.

Royal Marines Cadet Instructor Needed
A vacancy has arisen for a Royal Marine Cadet Instructor at Barnsley Sea Cadets.
We are looking for an male/female adult (20+) who can motivate, inspire and lead young people towards a responsible adulthood, based on Royal Marines ethos in developing self discipline, learning to make sound moral judgements and working as a team, eventually learning to lead the team.
Ideally you will have a military background (though not essential) and be willing to commit yourself to helping a small detachment make substantial achievements. No qualifications are needed other than an ability to be enthusiastic, friendly and a willingness to learn.

Cadets and Instructors from Barnsley Sea Cadets have joined other cadets from across South Yorkshire onboard the TS Jack Petchey for a weeks training.
