TS Royalist Canadian International Exchange...

TS Royalist Canadian International Exchange...

An Able Cadet was selected to form part of the United Kingdom Sea Cadet crew aboard TS Royalist for a special voyage with the Canadian Sea Cadets.

Our Able Cadet says “This trip not only developed me as a Cadet in that I have a better sense of what life is like at sea, as well as gaining a new qualification, but also as a person. I now feel more confident in my own abilities and I feel that this was the most vital thing I have taken away from this trip, along with gaining new friends from both the UK and Canada. This is an experience I will remember for the rest of my life.

I gained my Offshore Sail Grade 2 qualification and look forward to returning to TS Royalist in the future.”

District Five-a-side Football Competition 28/01/13

A HUGE well done to all the Cadets that entered the District 5-A-Side competition today but special mention to the combined Bexley & Lewisham Unit / Sutton (London Borough) Unit Senior Boys team who came first and now go on to represent the District at the Area Competition.

Great to see some medals and a trophy coming this way! Hope it will be the start of flood of awards for us in 2013!!!
