Last night our junior were doing all things Chinese new year! They learnt the tales and history of Chinese new year, tried loads of Chinese snacks and made their own dragons!πŸ‰πŸ₯ 

The rest of our cadets were learning about how to run a sea cadet unit, practising their interview skills and talking about loyalty!🀝🏻

Our juniors were learning about braille and its importance in the world- they also learnt how to write their names in braille!πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Our other cadets were doing ranks and rates, fire prevention and lesson planning!

Wow what a year we have had!🀩

Our year has been full of boating, promotions and medals and fun!β›΅οΈπŸŒŠ

Our cadets have learnt so many new skills, from map reading to cooking, first aid and new instruments!β›‘οΈπŸ—ΊοΈ

We have had so much fun during with our Halloween party, winter ball, ship visits and offshore voyages and we can’t wait to see what 2023 brings us!πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Our raffles managed to raise a massive £1460 for our unit and cadets, which will help with so many different things.🀩

We hope everyone had an amazing night at our winter ball.. we know we did!❀️

Thank you so much to our staff who have put in so much time making the night possible, our cadets who helped set up, the wonderful chefs who made the delicious food, and of course the staff who have done the big tidy up today!🧹πŸ₯—
