On 27 April, 77 Sea Cadets and 19 volunteers from Northern Area set sail for five days on HMS Ocean, to experience what life is like on a Royal Navy ship.

Starting in Glen Mallan, cadets sailed around the north of Scotland, gaining experience in navigation, engineering, aviation, catering and communications. They even experienced a mock medical operation! The trip was a fantastic opportunity for cadets to gain first-hand experience of the inner workings of a naval ship. Well done to all cadets and volunteers who took part!
