Midlands Boat Station Building Completion

Midlands Boat Station Building Completion

We are thrilled to announce the completion of our new Midlands Boat Station on the banks of the Edgbaston Reservoir in Birmingham! This state-of-the-art facility will serve as a water sports training hub and residential centre for 1,500 cadets, offering activities like dinghy sailing, paddle sports, powerboating, rowing, and windsurfing.

In addition to providing a new home for Birmingham Vernon Sea Cadets, the new boat station will become a cornerstone of local engagement. It will benefit the wider community by providing a venue for community groups, schools, and charities. We look forward to the official opening ceremony in October 2024!

Thank you to our architects, Troyka Associates Ltd, and our construction specialists, Speller Metcalfe, for turning our vision into reality. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to this fantastic new facility! For more information, visit our dedicated webpage here or contact us at midlands@ms-sc.org.
