August saw the Northern Area Summer Camp in Scotland. Several of our cadets attended, took part in lots of different activities & gained qualifications at the same time. They reported that they had a brilliant time & can't wait until next years.

VE Day Fundraiser
In May our committee organised a fundraising event at Royal British Legion in Antrim for the 75th Anniversay of VE Day. There was a 13 piece big band & 3 WW2 singers. What a fantastic night of celebration & remembrance.
Tall Ships, Belfast
Over 4 days in July, many of our Cadets represented Sea Cadets (official sponsor) at the Tall Ships festival in Belfast. It was a tremendous event & all our Cadets thoroughly enjoyed working at it & seeing it.
Visit to NATO ships, Belfast
A few of our Cadets travelled to Belfast recently & toured 4 NATO warships that visited the city.
Coasteering
Looking back at the summer months, Cadets took part in an activity called Coasteering. This involved climbing up and down cliffs in the County Down area & jumping off them into the sea. They all had a fantastic time & of course the weather helped.
