NI District Rowing Regatta
On Sunday 8th June, TS Formidable Sea Cadets are on a early rise to head to Coleraine Yacht Club to take part in the District Rowing Regatta. Let's go Team Formidable and bring home the silverware.
Ex Mons 100
In April, members of the Unit joined with members of other Cadet Forces (ACF, ATC and CCF) and travelled to Mons, Belgium to remember the Fallen of World War 1. The trip was both enjoyable and sombre in equal amounts for the cadets, but ALL agreed it was a worthwhile trip where they not only educated about WW1 but built up some new and lasting friendships. Thanks to RFCA (NI) for all their help and sponsorship of the trip.
Belfast Maritime Festival
Last weekend, cadets from TS Formidable attended the Belfast Maritime Festival. Cadets were divided into two sections. One section was at the Titanic Quarter showing off two impressive yachts we sailed down from Carrickfergus. The second section were at Pollock Dock on board HMS Richmond acting as guides for the visiting public
Festival of Remembrance
On Saturday 19th October 2013 cadets took part in the Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast. Well done to all who took part.
