Unit Hire

The Sea Cadet unit is available for hire for parties, sports classes and any reasonable event. If you are aware of a requirement for a good sized function hall then please speak to Helen Robinson or Theresa Kimberley with regard to booking the unit for your event.

Saturday 3^rd November - FIRST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH

Coffee morning 10:00 - 13:00
Why not come along to the monthly unit coffee morning and help raise funds for the unit.
Book stall with a vast selection of both hard and paperback books at incredible prices.
Refreshments available – Tea, coffee and soft drinks
Cakes, biscuits, scones and snacks for sale.

Saturday 10^th November

November Quiz Night
Teams of 6 - A Jacket potato supper (choice of filling) and salad included in ticket price of £6 per person.
This is a great night out for a group of mates or for the family, children welcome to come along and pit their knowledge against their parents! The wardroom bar will be open to all for alcoholic and soft drinks.

Sunday 11^th November

Remembrance Sunday
The Cadet band will be leading the parade in Biggleswade again this year. This is a compulsory parade for all Cadets, juniors are welcome to attend. Arrival at the unit is for 09:00 to make ready. No1 uniform to be worn by all Cadets, boots polished. Junior Cadets in standard dress, boots polished.

Friday 16^th – Sunday 18^th November

Biggleswade unit course weekend
Cadets: courses available - 3^rd class Communications, Basic Piping, 3^rd class Seamanship, 3^rd class Cook Steward and 3^rd class First Aid courses.
Junior Cadets: HeartStart on Saturday 17^thand Water Safety Sunday 18^th

Friday 7th December
Biggleswade Christmas Lights
The TS Duchess band once again led the festivities with the switching on of the Biggleswade Christmas Lights in Biggleswade Town Centre.

Friday 22nd December

Christmas party (joint juniors and cadets)
TS Duchess Christmas party for all cadets at the unit starting at 7pm. Cadets can wear smart casual, no jeans please.
