Brentwood Sea Cadets entered several elements of this years London Eastern District Combined Regatta held at the Royal Victoria Docks Boat Station in London.
With 10 out of 11 units attending this competition it was a tough event and well contested. Our Juniors (Nozzers) were awarded 10 points (2nd place in the District) and our Cadets achieving 3rd and 5th place on a points system.
BZ to all those who took part and to the staff/parents who supported the cadets !

Brentwood Sea Cadets were in attendance at the Cancer Research UK's "Race 4 Life" event last weekend.
A fantastic day supporting this cause held at South Weald Park - Cadets, Junior Cadets and PO (SCC) D Eagle helped stall holders set up for the day and were stationed at the 7km mark. We joined the team from Heart Essex to encourage the runners at the end of their uphill straight across the challenging cross-country course.

Our Unit Review has been completed and we have achieved Burgee status!
What a great year and this is recognition of the efforts of all involved at Team Brentwood and those who have supported us.

TS St.Vincent took part in last weekends District Athletics competition with 14 cadets supported by Team Manager, PO (SCC) D Eagle, CI T Williams and A/SLt R Miller. This year the competition was held in Colchester and all units from the district submitted teams to compete.
Our cadets entered 6 out of the 8 classes and showed real determination on all track and field events.

We came away with the Nozzer (Junior Cadet) Boys Trophy this year - a fantastic achievement !
