This weekend our boys rowing team headed down to Portsmouth to take part in the area rowing competition after winning at district level.  They were against very strong competition and placed a very close 3rd in their heat.

Congratulations to all of you, a massive achievement!

Today  We had two teams take part in the District Rowing Competition. Everyone put in a fantastic effort so a massive well done to all of you.
Results were as follows:
Open girls 3rd!!!
Open boys 1st!!!

Congratulations too all those cadets who took part. We are off to the Area Competition!!!

Very well done to our 4 candidates on this weekends board and all passing with credit passes and achieving the rank of L/Cpl. Well done all, hoofing effort.

BZ to Cadet Dimond who passed her 2nd class First Aid with flying colours. Well done.

And another BZ to OC Tyler who passed his 2nd class Marine Engineering again with flying colours. Well done to you also.

Well done to the RMCD today at the Area drill competition who came over all 2nd.

Also a BZ to L/Cpl Ross who can overall 2nd in the best RMCD guard commander competition.

Well done for all your efforts today and the last few months.

Jutland Tree Planting

Jutland Tree Planting

A busy Saturday helping the RNA and Woodland Trust plant over 6000 trees, one for each member of the Royal Navy who lost their lives at the Battle of Jutland. Met up with Former Second Sea Lord Admiral Sir David Steel and Admiral John McAnally of the Royal Naval Association, well done all, we managed to get about 1600 trees planted on the day.
