cadets formed up on new parade ground

Clydebank gets a new parade ground!

This Wednesday evening, Clydebank's Sea Cadets were able to use the new paved parade ground for the very first time, coincidentally; the christening of the unit's parade ground fell at the same time as our monthly 'divisions', in which all cadets get into their best uniform and are inspected to ensure uniform standards are maintained; This mirrors 'divisions' in the Royal Navy, and cadets also get to try their hand at the various positions, for example: Parade Commander, Squad Commander, Quartermaster/Bosuns Mate & more, encouraging their individual growth and development.
