Torchlight Procession and Tree Lighting

Dunstable Sea Cadets helped out at Dunstable Town Council's Torchlight Procession and Tree Lighting tonight. Well done to everyone who attended.
As well as helping to direct people to the event, we ensured the area for the carollers was accessible and some of the cadets also helped Santa distribute sweets to the children in the crowd.

You were all very smart which was commented on by many people, including the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Cynthia Gresham, representing the Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire at today's service.

Thank you to the cadets and staff who cleaned the war graves in Dunstable cemetery this afternoon.
Following cleaning of the graves, a poppy was place on each one.
Thank you to PPO Guest, who arranged with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission for us to have the privilege to be able to do this.

Dunstable Sea Cadets again supported Ardley Hill Academy for their annual fireworks display tonight.

Thanks to everyone for helping make this event as sucessful as it was.

South District Trafalgar Day Parade

South District Trafalgar Day Parade

Well done to everyone from Dunstable Sea Cadets who took part in today's South District Sea Cadets Trafalgar Day parade In St Albans.
Cadets took part in the guard or in divisions with the rest of the district, and were all very smart.
The guard were inspected by the our VIP, His Royal Highness, Prince Michael of Kent, who later took the salute and addressed the congregation as part of the service in the cathedral.
