What Are Juniors in the Sea Cadets?

In Sea Cadets, our 10 & 11 years are known as Juniors. They have their own activities, organised by our Juniors Training Officer. As well as our normal Summer activities of sailing, rowing and kayaking (we are the Sea Cadets after all...), our Juniors also learn about water safety, expedition training, community and sports as well as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).

Those Juniors that want to can also gain nationally recognised awards such as CREST and Young Leaders - all whilst having fun with their new shipmates!

Are you between 10 and 18 years old and looking for a new adventure in 2025?

At Sea Cadets you'll get to go on great adventures, meet new friends and do things like raft building, sailing and kayaking.

But it is not just on the water activities! At Sea Cadets we learn how to save lives, how to work on engines, computing as well as taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh awards.

If you would like to find out more about what we do here at Farnham, Fleet & Aldershot Sea Cadets, please write to info@farnhamseacadets.co.uk or call the Commanding Officer (Sean Kavanagh) on 07508 367979. We meet on Mondays and Fridays at our HQ on Lower Weybourne Lane, Badshot Lea, Farnham
