We are delighted to announce that we have now been approved as an RYA Powerboat Training Centre. The unit is extremely grateful for all those that have helped get this project off the ground, and now look forward to being able to offer lots more opportunities to our cadets.
We are extremely grateful to Awards for All Wales part of the Big Lottery for funding our IT Project. This go towards creating an IT Suite, which will not just benefit Fishguard Sea Cadets, but also other community organisations in the town. This will also help our teaching going forward and create more opportunities for online courses for both our adult volunteers and the cadets.

Fishguard Sea Cadets took part in the South West Area Sailing Competition in Portsmouth over the weekend of 14th-16th of July.
We entered the RS Quest Class (Cdt 1st Finn and Freya), who went on to win all their races and picked up Gold Medal and also we entered the Pico Class (OC Evie), who also won all her races and picked up Gold Medal. This is our best results at an Area Sailing Competition for a considerable amount of years, and is a fantastic achievement. All 3 cadets now go forward to the National Sailing Event on the Merseyside at the end of September. This will be the units biggest entry at a National Sailing Event. We are really pleased at the progress shown in both Classes, and the progress we are making in Sailing generally.
