14th June 2014 - Flitwick Carnival
Excitement levels were rising for the local community as Flitwick Carnival returned after a 14 year break.
In response to countless requests from residents, Flitwick Town Council took on the challenge of organising the Carnival for the first time and it proved to be a spectacular day.
With an extensive parade made up of floats (including our own entry representing Great Britain), walkers, a samba band, Heart Radio plus the quintessential Carnival prince and princess leading proceedings - this was an event not to be missed.
After walking through the town to an array of music and waving crowds, the stalls an shows continued for the rest of the afternon.
A BIG thank you to the P&SA for setting up the float and manning the stall for the afternoon with the additional help of various cadets. Over £400 was raised on the day.

7th June 2014 - Area Sailing Regatta
Well done to all those who competed in the Area Sailing Regatta, results as follows;
Bosun Class - 12 boats
AC L Upton and LC A Cross - 7th place (out of 12)
Pico Class - 19 Boats
AC B Dunham - 3rd Place (out of 19), bit political this one as he was disqualified from the last race which he would have won by a huge margin and been awarded 1st place, always next year
AC A Ashton - 7th Place
AC R Horvat-Kelly - 8th Place
AC M Kerrigan - 10th Place
Topper Class - 21 Boats
OC J Keene - 4th Place
CFC J Hooper - 6th Place
Cdt B Sabatier - 9th Place
Windsurfing 4.5 m Class - 9 Boards
AC M Green - 2nd Place
Excellent results all round, very well done to all those who competed.
