Cadets took shifts to assist in the local community's Cancer research relay for life event at Bannisters sports centre. Well done to all that helped raise awareness and money to such an important cause. By helping in the community, the Junior Sea Cadets achieved a module for their citizenship and community badge.

Unit Summer Camp-Peak District, 26th July-2nd...
A fun packed week in the Peak District. Cadets enjoyed staying on the camp site in cabins and took part in swimming, rock climbing, abseiling, expedition training, caving and a day in Alton towers. In the evening cadets were able to enjoy the camp site playing games, roasting marshmallows on the camp fire or visiting the local town.
Charity Horse show, 19th-20th July 2014
Cadets attend the charity horse show to assist with picking up jumps and car parking duties. Cadets worked hard throughout the weekend, raising money. Well done to all!
Family fun day, July 12th 2014
Cadets invited their family's along to the Welsh Harp boat station, to let them have a taster day of what they experience. Mum's, Dad's Sisters and brothers had a go at Stand up Paddle boarding, Sailing, raft building and kayaking, followed by a BBQ in the evening.
