A busy weekend for seven of our cadets at the unit this weekend: four cadets completed their basic Piping course and three completed their Basic Seamanship Course.
All seven passed their courses! Well done to all the cadets who attended.

Well that's a wrap for 2023! A fantastic year for TS Vancouver; so much has been achieved and many brilliant memories have been created.
Thank you to all that came to the Christmas Party, and a massive thanks to the UMT and staff for their hard work cooking our delicious meal and preparing the unit.
I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
TS Vancouver have been busy again today at the District 5-a-side football competition.
Junior Boys: Runners Up
Senior Boys: one cadet in winning team
A special mention to the Junior Girls and one Senior Team who although technically were not competing today still quickly adapted and had games against the Senior Girls so the Senior Girls could still play.
We were proud to be presented a certificate from the King's Lynn Royal British Legion for our help as part of the Poppy Appeal launch in Kings Lynn, raising a fantastic £207!
Today was the District Drill and Piping competition, in which cadets from all across the District attended RAF Honington to compete, and we are incredibly proud of AC Jonathan for taking 1st place. He will now attend the Area Drill and Piping Competition next year, and we wish him the very best of luck.
PO Coady also received a certificate of recognition for six years' service to the Sea Cadets.
