GOODBYE POC JADE!!
Tonight the Unit bid a farewell to Petty Officer Cadet Jade Honke as she turns 18 this week.
To Celebrate the Unit presented Jade with a plaque of a few key memories.
Jade has been with the Unit since she was 10 years old and achieved the very rare feat of completing 8 years as a Cadet.
She has achieved many many things - too many to mention in fact!
Jade said: "thank you everyone for everything! It has been a brilliant 8 years and I’m so grateful for the skills that I’ve learnt and the opportunities that I’ve had. I will never forget the unit and what it has done for me, so don’t anyone forget me! Good luck with the future T.S. Iron Duke!! "
Jade has aspirations to go to University and Study sports science and we wish her well on this next adventure.
Oh... and HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY - EAT CAKE!!!

Senior cadet advancement boards are the culmination of months and months of hard work. They are incredibly gruelling and the assessments aren’t easy, but our recent candidate - LC Ryan - has been successful this weekend.
Ryan acheived 4/8 exeptional passes almost like distinctions in coursework so the unit can be very proud of his achievement. Excellent effort and thoroughly deserved!
He will be a Petty Officer Cadet with immediate affect!
