We were just starting our Christmas Party when Royal British Legion representatives Eric Howden and Dave Blissett came to award the trophy for the highest amount of money raised by a cadet force during the Poppy Appeal in Oct/Nov.
Redcar Sea Cadets joined other cadet forces, organisations, councillors, our MP and veterans to honour those who gave their lives fighting for our country.
Redcar Sea Cadets hosted a party with a twist on Halloween this year. Joined by Guisborough and East Cleveland Sea Cadets we had a Pumpkin Party, with a competition for the best carved pumpkin (won by our youngest member ).
Fancy dress, music and party games all orgainised by the cadets.

Despite bitterly cold winds and rain our annual Poppy Appeal collection went ahead over 3 Saturdays in October and November.
