MAYOR MAKING PARADE

On 23rd May Rotherham sea cadets joined cadets from Air Force and Army to parade round Rotherham town centre for the Mayor Making Parade. It was also the first time in Rotherham's history the Mayor has had Mayor's cadets, one from Royal Air Force, Girls Venture Corps Air Cadets and Sea Cadets. Leading Cadets Smelt has been chosen to represent T.S. Repulse. It was the first time the Mayor, councillor Maggi Clark, and cadets had met each other. The cadets will join the Mayor on a number of engagements throughout the year.

CAMP CRAFT WEEKEND

In may cadets enjoyed a weekend camping, learning how to erect  tents and how to map read. Cadets from all over the district also attended the course.

EASTER CAMP 2015

In April cadets from T.S Repulse joined cadets from T.S Diomede Barnsley unit for a week of sailing, windsurfing and powerboating at SCTC Caledonia at Rosyth in Scotland. Cadets returned with qualifications in all three skills.

On the 20th-22nd March 2015 T.S. Repulse held their first training weekend of the year.

 

Well done cadets that passed their Seamanship Course and those that started their Basic Catering Course.

Rotherham Sea Cadets will be holding a Recruitment Evening for new cadets and adults on Monday 13th April 2015 at 1900 (7pm).
