Beckenham Unit were host to London Southern District First Aid Competition.
It was a close run event but the Southwark team finished in 3rd place while Andrew East took 1st place in the individual CPR challenge event.
PO McBride commented 'If only he was that good at power boating'.
A good day at the Thames Valley regional final of the RYA Honda Youth Rib Challenge.
First place in the junior event went to Southwark's Kirk Cole who earned himself a place in the national final at the Southampton Boat Show on 13 September 2015.
And in the senior section Harry Tutt finished 2nd and Andrew East 3rd and Callum Peek took 4th place.

During August it was a week at RAF St Mawgan for Callum Peek during which activities included:
Climbing, Abseiling, High Ropes Course, Mountain Biking, Bushcraft, Overnight Expedition, Segway Surfing, Coasteering and Beach BBQ.
For 2 cadets and PO McBride from Southwark unit it was 4 days well spent at Royal Victoria Dock Boating Station to complete their BCU 2 star paddlesports course. In kayaks and canoes this is a pre-requisite for the Foundation Safety and Rescue Training and Level 1 Coach which will come next.
