LONDON AREA REGATTA

LONDON AREA REGATTA

The London Area Regatta was held earlier than usual this year to cater for the Olympics. Irrespective of this it was a good performance from Southwark.

Ben Wood finished first in the Senior Boys Marathon canoeing while the Power Boat Handling Crew also achieved first place. Callum Malone as coxswain together with Alfie Button and Sian Cummins out performed old rivals Edmonton and also Rickmansworth to gain the trophy.

Now it’s going to be hard work preparing for the National Combined Regatta to be held at the end of September.
