With many thanks from supporters, staff, parents and cadets, St Helens Sea Cadet Unit was awarded 3rd place for the Natwest Community Force award, giving £6000 towards unit funds. This money will be invested in the unit by completing repairs that have been long overdue. We have currently seen a new flooring been put down in the bermuda way, new flooring in the wardroom and redecoration. However, the bulk of this awarded fund will go towards a new Marine Engineering classroom which will be completed by the end of 2012. I would like to thank all those people who voted online for St Helens Sea Cadets. Bravo Zulu!
