August 2022, saw the first North West Area Summer Camp since Covid 19.
Cadets and Staff from the unit attended, and travlled down with all the other units to take part in the summer camp.

On Sunday 07th April 2013 Stockport Sea Cadets visited HMS Echo while she was on the new cruise liner berth in Liverpool. LT William Rignall RN took the around the ship and on the bridge.
We also got the opportunity to visit some other ships while we were there:
German Ship - Weilhem
Dutch Ship - Bezoeker
This was a good experience for the cadets to see what life is like aboard a vessel.
SEA CADETS GET BIRDS EYE VIEW OF OLYMPIC GAMES WITH ROYAL NAVY
Sea Cadets from Stockport visited HMS Bulwark in July
The Royal Navy are providing security at the Olympic and Paralympic sailing site in Weymouth and, as the Sea Cadet’s biggest supporter they have offered 650 Sea Cadets from all over the UK a chance to come on board.
Stockport unit are part of the lucky group of cadets visiting the site throughout the games.
Commanding Officer S/Lt Squires said: “We are thrilled to have this opportunity, it’s amazing to not only be in Weymouth at this time but to see a working RN ship as well is an experience many of our cadets will cherish”
We are the UK’s largest maritime youth charity working across the country in 400 towns with 14000 Sea Cadets aged between 10 and 18. We offer young people the best possible head start in life through nautical adventure and fun. We’ve been inspiring and challenging young people through nautical adventure for 157 years and we are thrilled that so many stars have wished us Happy Birthday.
We are the UK’s largest maritime youth charity established in 1856 and we work across the country in 400 towns with 14000 Sea Cadets aged between 10 and18.
