Over the past couple of weeks, cadets have been taken to the Imperial War Museum, Manchester & the Maritime Museum London, travelling by train to their destinations. Big days out for all of them. This has given our cadets a chance to travel and do something different.

Over the past couple of weekend we have had Cadets go away on courses along with other cadets from across the district. These were Marine Engineering Meteorology and Catering. All the cadets did very well from it., and have come away with some useful qualifications to be used for their future lives and, or promotions.

WE ARE OFF TO NATIONALS!
Congratulations to the Drill Team who represented the unit today at the North West Area Drill and Piping Competition and placed in first place, meaning we are now off to nationals in a few weeks time. Which is held at HMS Raleigh in Plymouth
As part of our 85th celebrations, we celebrated in style last night with Captain of the Corps, our area officer, volunteers, parents, and representatives from other cadet services.
A big thank you to all those who attended and celebrated with us and to the Borough Arms Hotel for a fantastic meal!
