National Regatta

Fantastic results and an enjoyable day for our 4 cadets who competed in this year's National Regatta in London on the 23rd August. Hard work and determination has definitely paid off, a massive well done to all involved!

The results;

2nd place - Junior girls doubles marathon - Deathridge S and Owen T

2nd place - Junior girls single kayak marathon - Deathridge B

1st Place - Senior boys single kayak marathon- Furey Q

A massive well done and a huge thank you from all the cadets to Mr Edwards and PO Roche for your time and efforts in helping to train our fantastic kayaking team!

South West Area Summer Camp 2014

South West Area Summer Camp 2014

A fantastic effort by all of the Sutton Coldfield cadets that attended this years area summer camp! The week included activities such as kayaking, raft-building, rock climbing, a trip to a theme park and the beach and It's A Knockout! Only good reports came back about Sutton cadets (and Staff) so a massive well done! Hoping to see lots of you book onto the next one.

A massive well done goes to the South West Sea Cadet Band on their performance at the National Band Competition held on 17th August, at the Tower of London.

Absolutely amazing results winning:

South West Area Combined Regatta - July 2013

On Saturday, 13th July, on probably the hottest day of the year, Sutton Coldfield Sea Cadets sent fifteen Cadets to Bristol to take part in the South West Area Combined Regatta.

Every single one of them did fantastically well, all gaining 1st, 2nd or 3rd places, and we are proud to announce that eight of our Cadets now go forward to represent the South West Area at the National Combined Regatta at the Docklands, London, in September.

A special thank you must also go to all the Instructers who have given their time and committment over the months to prepare our Cadets to such an excellent standard.

District Kayaking Regatta - 2012

Well done to Sutton Coldfield Sea Cadets on winning the "Overall Trophy" at this year's Kayaking Regatta, 2012.  All their hard work and hours of training certainly paid off with Sutton Coldfield being triumphant in all their races.

A special thank you also goes to coaches, Mick Edwards and Sophie Roche, for their total dedication and belief in their Team.

Good luck at the Area Regatta in Bristol.
