Remembrance Parade - 9th November 2014

A HUGE well done to all staff, cadets, friends, parents and supporters who turned up for today's annual act of remembrance through Tewkesbury - with it being the centenary of the start of WW1, I was immensely proud to have such a smart and well turned out unit on parade today.

Sea Cadet Family Quiz Night

Saturday 22nd November

Tewkesbury Sea Cadet Unit

Entry 19.00 hrs. - quiz starts 19.30 hrs.

Our family quiz is here! Due to popular demand our fabulous quiz master has put together a quiz specifically for families.

We need you parents and your brilliant cadets (juniors included) to put together a team and join us for the evening. You can always join up with another family as long as you have a mix of adults and cadets.

Cost £2.50 per cadet £3.50 per adult

Your admission covers a free drink at the beginning of the evening and nibbles galore on your table.

Drinks are available through the evening for small donations and there will be a raffle half way through as well as a couple of team games for young and old alike!!!

We need as many of you as we can squeeze in so get signed up on the team sheet in the Sea Cadet unit. We need to know numbers but we are happy for you to pay on the night.

Don’t forget, all money raised comes straight back to the cadet unit!!

 Best wishes CI Stella Ashmeade

District Swimming Competition & Race Training...

What a great weekend it's been for T.S Otter -

A fanstastic result from our 4 cadets who entered the district swimming with Rebecca Holberton winning the overall senior girls shield and Tess Ashmeade, Harry Ashmeade and Lauren Hall performing exceptionally.

Also a big BZ to Chay Hawkins who has been down at SCTC Weymouth completing his start racing module and being coached in prep for the national sailing regatta in September.
