Cadet Sgt Daud Daud sat his Virtual Cadet Sgt Board back in Dec/Jan but due to lockdown we haven’t been able to formally make the presentation.

Last Friday we hosted the London Area Sea Cadets Area Officer and London Southern District Sea Cadets District Officer for our Area Review Visit.
The Area Officer toured classes, speaking with cadets and staff about how they found the last year and what they are looking forward to now cadets are back face to face.
Cadets and Ordinary Cadets undertook a session on Stoves whilst the Able Cadets and Cadet 1st Class completed a session on Leadership. Our Recruits and New Entries learnt about the Ranks and Rates of the Sea Cadets.
At the end of the evening, he kindly offered to make a few presentations

Today saw us back out on the water at Welsh Harp Boat Station for the first time since September last year.
12 cadets and 3 staff took to the water, undertaking sessions in Kayaking and Sailing.
A great day was had by all and it was lovely to see so many smiling faces.

Fab Sunday morning spent at the unit, catching up on sessions we were unable to complete virtually.
Well done to OC Faith and Cadet 1st Class Charlie who completed and passed their assessment for Intermediate First Aid and AC Kiarnna who completed her RYA Essential Navigation qualification.
