Congratulations to LC Felvus and our Deputy District Officer Lt Elliott who after a very tough week at HMS Caledonia in Scotland, have both passed their RYA Dayskipper (theory)

Torfaen Sea Cadets are really glad to say that the new multi million pound watersports facility at Llandegfedd, where the unit holds is boating ... is open for business. This will allow the unit to continue its long history of being truely outstanding at water borne training. Only now in excellent style.

Sgt Lockyer and 2nd Lt Yuille successfully completed their map reading course and MC2 Oelmann completed her intermediate catering course.

MC Prothero only has the assessment to do for her catering as she was unable to attend but hopefullyshe will complete it in the next few weeks.

Torfaen attend armed forces day

Members of Torfaen Sea cadets attended the armed forces day celebrations in Cardiff city centre this month and despite sound rough weather did an excellent job in promoting the Sea Cadets to a wide audience.
