The Royal Naval Parade (RNP) is part of the regular inspection process carried out for all Sea Cadet Units throughout the UK and consists of two parts;
- A formal inspection of our cadets by our Area Officer, Cdr Trevor Price RN.
- Evolutions, created and presented by our Cadets, to showcase the activities they have excelled at during the previous two years.
This year the Cadets showcased their engineering skills, our community evolvement, their waterborne activities and accomplishments, the Duke of Edinburgh sections, awards and expeditions undertaken and the Junior Sea Cadet sections activities, amongst other things.
We had a fantastic RNP this evening, topped off by Area Officer, Cdr Price RN, confirming his recommendation that we are awarded a Burgee for 2017!!
A huge thank you and well done to all our cadets, you put on an amazing show and I am very proud of you all.
An equally huge thank you and well done to all our adult volunteers for the monumental effort you put into this evening and all our activities.
Finally, thank you to all of our guests for joining us tonight to help celebrate the achievements of our cadets. We hope you enjoyed the show.
Well done team Tormentor!
Yours Aye,
PO (SCC) Travell
