The unit received delivery of a new mini bus, all stickered up with the unit logo.
A group of cadets have been off training for their Duke of Edingburgh awards. Completing a trial run of their expedition, everything went to plan and there was even time for a little fun.
The unit were host to Avon District for a training weekend, with 30 cadets and 12 staff. Training included Basic Catering and Basic Seamanship. The cadets all enjoyed their training and eating what they made. Cupcakes!!
Town Mayor, Councillor Keith Morris and Mrs Jocelyn Holder were on board to do the inspectionand present the awards to the Lucky winners. 13 Awards were given to the cadets that have gone above and beyond, winning awards ranging from Most Improved Junior Cadet to The Win Morgan trophy, this is the Commanding Officers trophy given to the cadet that has stood out the most to the Commanding Officer in the past year. Also 3 of the senior cadets recieved their promotion badges after completing their Cadet Petty Officers Board.
