Cadets and staff taking part in the annual Remembrance Parade in Bideford. This is followed by a Parade in the afternoon at Hartland.
9 Cadets and 4 Staff went to London for the Remembrance Weekend. They left on Friday afternoon to travel to Wandsworth Unit who were kindly allowing us to stay. On the Saturday morning they visited the Imperial War Museum and in the afternoon visited HQS Wellington the Headquarters of the Merchant Navy where their President Mrs Vivian Foster gave them a tour. Then in the evening after a Chinese it was time to polish their boots and check their uniforms for the Parade. On Sunday morning they were up early to get ready and travel by Underground to Horseguards Parade ready for the march pass the Cenotaph. They all said what a wonderful experience this was and you may have seen them on TV. In the evening they went to see Spectre the James Bond film which they enjoyed. On the Monday morning after packing to travel they had a tour of the Houses of Parliament before returning home.
4 Cadets had the opportunity to go on a voyage aboard the TS Royalist the Sea Cadet Tall Ship.
The PSG arranged a Laser Tag event between Cadets, Staff and Parents. The Unit Divisions fought it out over 5 games and with one match void, it was down to a dual to make the final winners Port.
