The Burgee was awarded following the Unit’s annual inspection and presented on Thursday night by Mayor Pester to OC James Williams, who proudly accepted on behalf of the Unit, in front of local dignitaries, guests and parents.
The Burgee reflects the high level of training, community participation, events, uniform, and effort by the Cadets and Staff, led by Officer in Charge, APO (SCC) Michael Clarke.
A London Trip was arranged to attend the Merchant Navy Parade at the invitation of Mrs V Foster, National President Merchant Navy Association. The cadets had the opportunity to meet the First Sea Lord Admiral Sir George Zambellas.
