After their recent success at District Level our Un-Armed Drill squad travelled to Blackheath Cadet Training Centre this weekend to compete with the best from across London Area. The training has paid off and our cadets did a fantastic job to win the Area Trophy too!
A double success on the day too as LC A Farmer also took the award for the Best Squad Commander.
The National Competition will be held at HMS RALEIGH in a months time.

Brentwood Cadets took to the water on a wet and overcast day at the Royal Victoria Docks Boat Station with Sailing and Powerboating on offer.
CPO N Walsh led the cadets Powerboating experience aboard the training centres Champ - Practising manoeuvres with cadets and our Chairman taking the controls to perfect their skills. Sailing was also on offer at the docks with support from PO D Eagle and CI T Williams - cadets sailing Pico dinghies , some for the first time , learned how to follow a basic course and coped well with gusty conditions all remaining upright!
