Congratulations to Junior 1st Class Alex, who, as part of the junior sea cadets' current activities, has produced a spectacular knot board.
He even produced a key identifying all the knots and their uses.

Good luck for next Friday to Able Cadet Ellis who will be playing in the band at the commissioning of the new Sea Cadets' flagship TS Royalist. He will be one of only 20 in the band and 36 cadets at the event.

A really good result by 2 brilliant teams, Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets, we won the best turned out unit, as well as a couple of 2nd places for armed drill, our guard commander was overall 2nd as well. It was great to see both Sea Cadets and Royal Marines Cadets deliver great results with such young teams. Again thanks to you all in terms of effort in the many practice sessions and to the instructors who supported you.
The Unit came 2nd Overall in Bedfordshire District for 2014. Thank you all for the thousands of hours of time and effort given by all in giving the the youth of Dunstable, Houghton Regis and Leighton Buzzard the best head start in life through nautical adventure and fun.
Thank you Dunstable Asda and all the generous townspeople who supported the Sea Cadets yesterday in raising money for repairs to our RHIB
My sincerest thanks to the Staff, Cadets and UMT who helped at the Bag Pack, we raised £950!
The very best of the seasons greetings to you all.
