Coastguard Cliff Team Visit - May 2015

On the 28th May's unit night, we were visited by the Coastguard Cliff Team at our unit.  They gave a talk to the cadets and let them try on the rescue kit they wear.  There was also an opportunity to play with the sirens in their vehicle!  A big "Thank You" to the team for giving up their time.

Burgee for 2015!

Burgee for 2015!

After a very successful RNP Inspection this year we have been awarded a Burgee Flag for 2015.  A Burgee represents a high level of achievement within the unit and this year we achieved our highest ever score.  This is our sixth Burgee in a row and is the culmination of a lot of hard work by our Committee, the Staff and of course the Cadets.  Thank you to everyone involved in making our unit such a success.

Enys Gardens 10k Run - April 2015

On Sunday 19th April, some of our cadets were asked to assist in the "goody bag" preparation and distribution for the Rotary Club of Penryn's annual Enys Gardens 10k Run.  The cadets worked hard to get all the bags ready before the start of the race, and efficiently distributed them to the racers as they crossed the finish line.  A good morning's work!
