There was a Christmas market in Huddersfield on the weekend of 9th/10th December. It was a cold Saturday morning but some of our cadets wrapped up well and braved the weather to raise funds for the unit.

Christmas just wouldn’t have been Christmas without making cookies.
Our Junior Cadets spent one of the parade nights in early December making ‘melting snowmen’ cookies. The cadets had a great evening making the cookies, producing some rather interesting results.
Congratulations to all the cadets who took part in the Drill and Piping competition on 3rd Dec.
Unarmed 8+1: WINNER
Individual Piping: RUNNER UP
Junior Section: WINNER
You have all done the Huddersfield unit proud.
Bag packing at Asda on Bradford Road, Huddersfield, on Saturday, 2nd December 2017.
This was great opportunity to raise some money for the unit.
Thank you to the cadets who turned out to pack the bags and thank you to Asda for allowing us to spend the day in their store.
Huddersfield Sea Cadets joined British Legion members and veterans in the town's Market Place for the Dedication of the Garden of Remembrance.
A brief service took place and two minutes silence was observed.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
