A big thank-you to the cadets who helped out at the Marham Village Fete today; the weather was incredibly hot yet the cadets remained professional and did an excellent job of talking to the public about what we're all about.

With the days getting longer we are finally able to get back to boating! Even though the weather wasn't the sunniest, our rowing teams were more than capable of gliding across the water. Even some of our staff members had a go!
Today six of our cadets joined others from across Suffolk & Norfolk District to pipe the Special Call (Call the Hands) outside Sandringham House to mark the launch of The Big Help Out. They did a brilliant job and it was made extra special by piping in such an important location.
This weekend we had 9 cadets away at the Suffolk & Norfolk District MACT. Cadets completed courses in Basic Marine Engineering, Intermediate Catering and the Piping Proficiency.
Three cadets have passed so far, with the catering course still having another weekend to complete as part of their course.
Thank you to the volunteers giving up their time to attend the weekend with the cadets, and for transporting the cadets.
In March we celebrated our hardworking cadets with the annual Awards Night. Mayor Bambridge and Colonel Tim Allen OBE joined us on the night to present the trophies and awards and both the Juniors and Seniors prepared entertaining presentations on what they have learned at Sea Cadets.
We are so proud of their achievements, and look forward to seeing what they achieve in 2023.
