The Unit Chairman cordially invites all parents, guardians, friends and supporters to the 2013/2014 Annual General Meeting of the Luton Sea Cadets Unit Management Team (UMT).
This annual meeting is held to bridge the gap between the parents and the committee, and also elect supporters to the positions within the committee such as vice chairman, secretary and treasurer. All supporters are invited to come along to ask questions and discuss the issues affecting the unit at this time, and for those who want to give something back to the unit and support our cause, you can find out how to get involved - it's not as time consuming or complicated as you may think. Topics include the current status of the unit, future plans, and current issues affecting the unit. Additionally there will be information on how you can support the unit, which does not always involve a huge time committment. Any carpenters, electricians or plumbers who wouldn't mind fixing the occasional leaky tap or plug socket, could greatly help the unit and anyone willing to give up an evening to grab a paint brush can also make a huge difference to the cadets.
The meeting will be held at Luton Sea Cadet unit on October 23rd 2013 from 1930 to 2130. All attendees should arrive by 1910 latest so the meeting can start at 1930 sharp. Cadets will be occupied in the normal Wednesday night parade night. Refreshments will be available.
