Over the Easter Holiday 8 Cadets from Medway Victory Unit experianced their first time out boating with the SCC, they attended a Fixed Seat Rowing Course alongside Cadets from TS Cornwallis (Medway Towns Unit), they gained experiance and 6 of them gained their Rowing Taster Qualifacation, the first step of the Rowing Syllabus in the SCC. the Cadets seemed to have fun and enjoyed their Course.

The Victory Academy will be starting up its own Sea Cadet Unit, it is part of the goverments Cadet Expansion Program (CEP). The unit unfortunanly is only recuiting from pupils who attend the Victory Academy 10-16 year olds for the time being. Now many of you will be asking what is the Sea Cadet Corps?
