We were invited along to Oakfield Primary School to give the children an insight to what we do at Sea Cadets.
We also had a mini competition going on alongside the table, where they could test their CPR skills out - and they did really well!
We had lots of fun and hopefully some future Cadets in the making!
There’s no better way to spend the evening than on the water kayaking!
A lovely evening for our first Summer Active session of the season, with cadets and staff from both Ryde & Cowes Unit out sailing!
It's great to see our Quests (training boats) back on the water where they belong :)

⛵ A reasonable wind, perfect for a first session. Some excellent tacking, and a good beginning to gybing, and all revved up for more over the summer ⛵

⭐ Alongside the other units in our District, the Juniors held our very first STEM Day at the unit! Activities included making oceans in a bottle, helicopters out of paper and ice cream in a bag! ⭐
🧑🔬 We all had a great time and learnt lots too - thanks to Central District staff members for making the day fun! 🧑🔬
