Remembrance Service - High Bradfield

As part of a weekend of remembrance, last night Petty Officers Ford-Mitchell and Smith attended High Bradfield's service with a selection of cadets from TS Sheffield.
Inside, reservist Michelle gave a talk about being awarded the Queen's Volunteer Reserves Medal, handed to only 13 reservists every year for exemplary conduct.
The church was beautifully lit up with a huge projection of a poppy field. Which can be seen across the valley.
Thanks to everyone who came, and to all in the country who are remembering the sacrifices paid by the Armed Forces at this time.

Little Buzz - Mini Drone

Whats that sound? Its the newest member of our Media Team - 'Little Buzz', arrived in Sheffield after Captain Sea Cadets chose our picture to win the 'Musical Mayhem' media competition.
First test flight went well (as you can see) When is Buzz's first mission? Today! Joining our cadets teams in the White-Peaks National Park, for Duke of Edinborugh Award Expeditions.
Buzz will be the eye-in-the-sky this weekend, capturing the countryside. Flying conditions look good (which means dry campers too) So, who fancies a sky-high selfie?

'Musical Mayhem' Competition Winners

Thanks to SCCUK for running the competition, and Captain Sea Cadets for choosing the winning photo:

“I loved this photo! It shows the fun cadets have when being part of a band, but also encapsulates the hard work needed to perform at events like the National Band Competition.”
