Sheppey cadets shone again with a fantastic day at the District 5-a-Side Football Competition today.

The Senior Girls (Jeferies, Allan and Williams L) were reunited with Adams from Maidstone who they played with last year, and were also joined by Wantling and Maybourne from Medway. Despite 2 nail-biting matches resulting in draws, the final match gave the team the opportuniy to show everyone how girls football should be played, winning the match and achieving 1st place.
The Cadet Boys (Lock, Brown, Angell C, Penney, Bishop, Louch, Winter) and Senior Boys (Angell K, Collick, Reeves, Akers, Harrison, Jennings and Adach) Teams both had some very talented football players within them, however the difficulty is always managing the team well, working together and remaining calm. They did however, prove Sheppey cadets are the definition of teamwork and committment and continued to play well and fairly, qualifying for and then winning their respective finals!
