Fantastic news - AC Smith, AC Unsworth and OC Woods were awarded Bronze medals at the National Drill and Piping Competition at HMS Raleigh in April.

They came 3rd, representing the North West Area in the Team Piping Event.

It is only the second year Southport has entered a Piping Team in any competition and in both years we have been the team selected to represent the North West at Nationals.

We are extremely proud of our Pipers.

We currently have 13 Cadets and Juniors attending Band Practice regularly each Sunday afternoon and performed for the first time  for the Captain of the Sea Cadets Captain Mark Windsor RN, when he visited our Unit in March.
