Fantastic news - AC Smith, AC Unsworth and OC Woods were awarded Bronze medals at the National Drill and Piping Competition at HMS Raleigh in April.
They came 3rd, representing the North West Area in the Team Piping Event.
It is only the second year Southport has entered a Piping Team in any competition and in both years we have been the team selected to represent the North West at Nationals.
We are extremely proud of our Pipers.
We were pleased to have as our guest recently, Captain Mark Windsor RN and had a great evening showing him round our Unit.
We are proud to announce we have been awarded a Burgee again this year, along with a CSC Commendation.
