Remembrance Parade Southport 2013
Our Band led the Parade for this year Remembrance Day Parade in Southport. We are tremendously proud of the progress made by our Cadets in just over a year, since our Band was started by PO(SCC) Sophie Feeney who's father CPO(SCC) Bruce Feeney was Bandmaster in the late 1980's /early 1990's. PO(SCC) Chris Cook, Liverpool District Band Co-ordinator, who was a member of the Band as a Cadet in those days is now the Unit Bandmaster and has done a magnificent job with them.
Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2013
Yet again this year, our Cadets have raised over £8,000 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in Southport Town Centre over two weekends and in local supermarkets. They are pictured here at the Launch at Southport Town Hall.
North West Area Swimming Competition 2013
Fantastic results at the North West Area Swimming Competition with Liverpool District winning 43 of the 54 GOLD medals on offer and overall winners of the competition. - We are proud to say that our own swimmers won 17 of them
