A DAY ON THE RIVER THAMES

A DAY ON THE RIVER THAMES

It was a sunny Sunday in October when cadets took to the river in three RIB's to add to their boating experiences. Launching into the River Thames at Putney the day included a trip through Central London reaching Greenwich at mid day. All the usual sights were supplemented by a visiting warship, HMS Mersey, alongside HMS Belfast.

2014 has included a range of boating activities including rowing, power boating, sailing and kayaking (and of course the RYA Honda Youth RIB Challenge).
