On Thursday 3rd December 2015, St Helens submitted a team of 3 cadets to participate in the Merseyside East District Seamanship Competition. In the past 2 years we saw major improvement in our scores, placing 3rd place in 2013 & 2nd place in 2014. This year with a brand new batch of cadets we entered all 3 categories of the competition. Ordinary Cadet Lochlan Makepace, Cadet Brandon Tipton & Cadet Jade Miller placed 3rd in the competition. Brilliant effort throughout! Next year we aim for 1st place!

Supporting #StampOutBullying

Scimitar raised awareness throughout its Unit Activities & in the local community in support of the Anti-Bullying Campaign. Cadets rallied around and showed their support in many ways. It is great for a community such as St Helens to bond together in such times. Many thanks to all who supported #StampOutBullying
