The unit is now able to go afloat and qualify cadets in the units new cheverton champ.
This boat will be one of the best training boats a unit could have, roll on the cadet qualifications.
Cadets from our unit help out at the Lord Mayors of Fareham’s night at Fernham Hall, Guest were treated to a music concert by the Royal Marines Band HMS Collingwood. They raised £195:96 for the Charity SSAFA.
Lt Ron Cheek (SCC) RNR the Units inaugural Commanding Officer has stood down from the unit after 3 years.
He has been a driving force behind the unit since before the unit was opened. He will be missed by all and we wish all the best for the future.

On Sunday 14th February the Unit entered the District Guard Competition.
We entered the unarmed Squad Competition were we had a fantastic result and came 3rd in the district. After the squad had been inspected they went on to a comprehensive drill routine which was second to none. All the hard work that the Cadets had put in over the last month paid off and achieving a 3rd place. Well done all.
