Today 50 Sea Cadets are joining Air and Army cadets with Combined Cadet Force to debate at the House of Lords Chamber! A team of five Sea Cadets will debate the question: ‘One hundred years after World War One, what is the legacy for the UK and how does it shape the nation today?’
Our Sea Cadets team is made up of David from Chester and Staffordshire District, John from East Kent District, Bryony from North East Yorkshire District, and Alex and Sam from Tyne South District (pictured).
The House of Lords, in partnership with the MoD, The Royal British Legion and the English-Speaking Union, is bringing from all over the UK around 150 Sea Cadets, Army and Air Force Cadets and Combined Cadet Force cadets, together with veterans of all ages and military backgrounds.
Watch the debate live on the House of Lords website and on the House of Lords YouTube channel following the event. Watch it on BBC Parliament TV.
