Annual General Meeting - New Committee

Annual General Meeting - New Committee

On Wednesday 24th June the unit ran it’s Annual General Meeting at the unit, there was a small turn out of Mayors and supporters. The meeting went very well with a good solid reflection of the unit’s outcomes over the past year, looking at how it is running. One note to mention from it is that the cadet qualifications in 2013/2014 was 260, 2014/2015 is now 351! A huge increase of 91 qualifications gained by cadets, Adults also had a rise in qualifications, 2013/2014 was 46, 2014/2015 is now 152. This gives us an overall qualification gain of 503 a difference of 197. Very well done to all cadets and adults who get away and qualified!

Plus the volunteers to train them and transport them!

At the unit’s Annual General Meeting, the Chairman, Alwyn Mason, stood down after 12 years in the role. Councillor Francis Davies has now been elected as the new chairman for the unit management committee. We wish Alwyn the very best and thank him sincerely for his work and efforts over the past 12 years. We also wish Francis the best of luck in his new post.
